My own uterus was taken from me because of cancer. Instead, I got my mother’s. Same womb that I lay in. Thanks to a unique transplantation and driven doctors from Sahlgrenska, I was able to carry and give birth to two wonderful children. I am the first woman in the world to receive a transplanted uterus from her mother and the first cancer patient ever treated for her uterus infertility. Funny, I´m also the first who have had the womb removed twice.

Greatest of all though, I´m a mom.
